Supreme Court Upholds the Affordable Care Act: Good News for All Artists

“Lack of insurance is an ongoing crisis among artists, many of whom are self-employed or work in small businesses that cannot afford to offer it as a benefit. Almost one out of three workers in our community is uninsured.”

Joseph P. Benincasa, President & CEO

The Supreme Court’s ruling on the Affordable Care Act on June 27 was good news for all artists. Read Joe's offical statement in response to the ruling on our blog.

"Celeste Holm played a leading role in rebuilding The Actors Fund and then focused on renovating our nursing home and assisted living care facility in Englewood, New Jersey. She served as a Trustee Chair of the Committee overseeing The Lillian Booth Actors Home and, more recently, as a member of our National Board of Advisors."

LA PRIDE 2012:
Thank you Christopher Street West!

Thanks to Christopher Street West Association, Inc. for their donation of tickets to LA PRIDE! Our Palm View residents in West Hollywood (our 40-unit apartment complex that provides homes to low-income people with HIV/AIDS) celebrated their Pride in early June as part of the larger LA community thanks to free access to the LA PRIDE celebration grounds. Bravo to our friends at Christopher Street West!
