On November 7th, Brian Stokes Mitchell will premiere Simply Broadway, a fresh concert series introducing a collection of classic Broadway lyrics and melodies to be featured on a CD making its debut at this event.
Proceeds will benefit The Actors Fund and Lincoln Center.

Brian Stokes Mitchell
Dubbed the Broadway Baritone Extraordinaire, Brian Stokes Mitchell is a multi-award winning actor with a career of musical versatility on Broadway, television and film. Add to his illustrious background celebrated appearances in the great American concert halls, including Carnegie Hall with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony and also with the late Marvin Hamlisch and the National Symphony Orchestra’s 75th season Pops concert debut, which Stokes reprieved with Marvin at the Kennedy Center. At the Hollywood Bowl he shared the stage with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and appeared with the Boston Pops at Disney Hall in LA with John Williams and again partnered with the Pops in Boston and at Tanglewood. Brian Stokes Mitchell moves effortlessly from concert hall to television, film, cabaret and Broadway stage. Most recently his TV appearances include the 2012 season of “Glee” and several guest appearances on PBS’ Great Performances. He is currently seen on film in “Jumping The Broom” opposite Angela Bassett. Stokes’ Broadway career includes the 2011 Lincoln Center Theatre production of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Man of La Mancha, Kiss Me Kate and Ragtime. Brian Stokes Mitchell has served as the Chairman of The Actors Fund Board since 2003.
