Thomas Exton


Mr. Exton joined the Entertainment Community Fund in 2010. He is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising, leadership and communications program which includes raising $12 million annually through major gifts, memberships, planned giving, institutional giving, special events and special campaigns.

He has 25+ years of experience in fundraising, including 20 years in the not-for-profit sector where he has worked for the Wildlife Trust, Big Apple Circus, The New York Botanical Garden, National Audubon Society, the United Nations Association of the USA and the Museum of American Folk Art. Prior to his not-for-profit career, he raised funds for various political candidates and organizations including Senator John Heinz of Pennsylvania, Senator Chuck Percy of Illinois, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Mr. Exton is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is an elected member of the Board of Education for the Union Free School District of Pleasantville, NY.
