The Actors Fund and Mount Sinai announced plans today to open a new health center for the performing arts community in New York City. The Friedman Health Center will serve as the medical care provider for the entertainment and performing arts community.

The great actress and humanitarian Elizabeth Taylor continues to impact lives in our community through her foundation. The Actors Fund was awarded a $35,000 grant from The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) in partnership with Macy’s for our Palm View residence in West Hollywood.

LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL SELECTS THE ACTORS FUND AND Thomas Safran & Associates FOR THE HOLLYWOOD ARTS COLLECTIVE
The new $35 million development will provide mixed-income affordable and market-rate housing with a preference for artists and space for local non-profit arts organizations, reinvigorating the landscape for and supporting Hollywood as an accessible arts entertainment district.
