As the company turns 10 years old, Dancers Unlimited (DU) presents two evenings of a 2-in-1 show featuring guest choreographers for reasonsLegacy 4 and DU's most recent production CYPHER: Homecoming.

reasonsLegacy 4 explores the theme I'mMigration. 5 NYC-based choreographers are selected through a submission process to present innovative work that explores the critical and urgent topic of Immigration, or as we dissect the word: I'm Migration.

CYPHER: Homecoming was recently presented at Oahu Fringe Festival during two sold-out performances. CYPHER explores the dance circle as a universal space for HUEman connection, expression and celebration. DU NYC & Hawaii fuses together traditional, contemporary, street and social dances to create powerful narratives of the HUEman experiences. The multi-media production features costume by Julia Kito Kirtley, original music by MaineframeMusic and Nadelle Scott, music permission by Carolyn Malachi, video compilation by Melissa Wu and a finale with special guest performer and choreography by Sekou Heru.
