The Resources section is an ongoing collaborative effort at the Entertainment Community Fund to provide a one-stop database of services and organizations that meet the unique and essential needs of the arts and entertainment professional. The Actors Fund

A national human services organization that fosters stability and resiliency, and provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals over their lifespan. The Actors Fund provides comprehensive social services including counseling, crisis intervention and connections to local resources for personal, family or work related problems as well as emergency financial assistance for basic living necessities.

Provides relief and recovery services on a regional level, and responds to the need for emergency food, shelter, direct financial assistance, counseling and support. Other services include financial, medical and utilities assistance, clothing, housing, health care and child care. Professional Dancers Society

Financial assistance is available to dancers and choreographers who meet eligibility criteria. Administered by The Actors Fund.

Disaster-related assistance

Small Business Administration—2017 Hurricane Recovery

Provides low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters, businesses of all sizes, and most private nonprofit organizations. SBA disaster loans can be used to repair or replace the following items damaged or destroyed in a declared disaster: real estate, personal property, machinery and equipment, and inventory and business assets.

Entertainment and Performing Arts Union and Guild Assistance Funds

American Federation of Musicians: The Lester Petrillo Memorial Fund for Disabled Musicians

Provides a modest grant to temporarily or permanently disabled musicians who are members of the American Federation of Musicians.

American Guild of Musical Artists Relief Fund

Members in good standing may be eligible for emergency financial assistance. Grants are administered by The Actors Fund from the New York, Chicago and Los Angeles offices.

American Guild of Variety Artists Sick and Relief Fund

Members who have completed initiation and paid dues for one year can apply for emergency aid for basic needs or medical expenses.

Directors Guild Foundation

Provides confidential loans to members who are facing short term financial hardship.

SAG-AFTRA Foundation

Provides emergency financial assistance for the aid, relief and care of SAG-AFTRA members west of the Mississippi in times of need.

SAG-AFTRA Motion Picture Players Welfare Fund

Provides emergency financial assistance to SAG-AFTRA members east of the Mississippi struggling with a financial, personal or medical crisis. Assistance is administered by The Actors Fund and can be used for rent, utilities, mental health, medical care and other basic living expenses.

Writers Guild of America, West Good & Welfare Fund

Provides temporary assistance to Writers Guild of America, West members experiencing financial stress in emergency situations. Loans are intended to assist in the procurement of life necessities.

Film, Television and Radio

Broadcasters Foundation of America

Provides an anonymous safety net to men and women in the radio and television broadcast profession in cases of critical illness or crisis.

Stuntwomen's Foundation

Provides financial assistance grants to stuntwomen who are unable to work due to debilitating illness or injuries.
