Provides information for birth mothers and adoptive parents. Helps every step of the way through their comprehensive guides, links and advice about pre-adoption and post-adoption.

Building Your Family

Provides helpful information and resources for adoptive parents.

Provides parenting advice and information for stay-at home, working and single mothers. Topics range from jobs at home to fun games to play with your children.

Provides information about pregnancy and a variety of topics for parents with children 0-18 (school, life, entertainment, etc.).

National Association for the Education of Young Children

Contains information for families including publications (brochures, articles, books & journals) on early education and child development. They administer "Young Children," an award winning peer reviewed journal on a range of young children issues that is published bi-monthly.

New York Metro Parents

This site contains information and resources for parents living in the New York City Region. There are articles on single parenting, child raising, teens, special needs, culture/entertainment and other topics. New York Metro Parents website also includes blogs, parenting groups and discussion boards so parents can benefit and receive support from one another. The site also provides a calendar of events in NYC boroughs and surrounding counties as well as parent resources including after school activities, camps, outings, birthday parties and health information.

New York State Adoption Service

Helps adults considering adoption learn more about the process in New York State. Their website includes a listing of approved adoption agencies, information about the process and adoption subsidies, FAQs, resources, publications and more. Also explains post-adoption services and provides links to local programs.

New York State information on Education and Families

Provides links and resources about a variety of topics regarding education and families. Education links include but are not limited to schools (K-12), disability issues, financial aid and higher education. Family resources comprise of topics on child care, adoption, family planning, special programs for children and safety.

Contains information on pregnancy, babies, toddlers, children 2-13, activities, being a mother, recipes and family products and toys. The site also includes blogs, forums and links to child safety organizations, party planning, kids' games and other resources for parents.

A service of Boys Town, this online resource provides parenting tips, advice, guidance and resources for parents.
