The Actors Fund Home’s skilled nursing home includes a very special neighborhood, Broadway on Hudson. Broadway on Hudson is a 32 bed neighborhood that is certified in dementia care by the New Jersey Department of Health.

In addition, Broadway on Hudson, after a 12 month long training process, is accredited by Comfort Matters™.

Comfort Matters is a philosophy, care practice and an evidence-based program that improves the quality of care and quality of life for persons with dementia.

The practice was developed at Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix through more than a decade of research around person-directed health care practices and the latest science on supporting people who live with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. Being certified as a Comfort Matters accredited provider demonstrates our commitment to embed care practices into our organization that provide the best quality of care and quality of life for persons with dementia.

The first facility in the state of New Jersey to achieve this accreditation, The Actors Fund is proud to be in its second year as an official Comfort Matters care provider. www.comfortmatters.org

To further our goal of providing a continuum of the very best in dementia care, The Actors Fund is currently constructing a 20 bed Memory Care Assisted Living neighborhood, which will also be an accredited Comfort Matters provider. Construction is scheduled to be complete in early 2019.
