The Actors Fund BOOK CLUB

We are excited to announce The Actors Fund BOOK CLUB, a discussion group for book lovers in the entertainment industry. The group is targeted to older adults, and open to all entertainment professionals, 60 and over.

Ilene Graff and Meg Bennett, long-time book club enthusiasts and experienced discussion leaders, are offering an opportunity to come together to read and talk about books. This is a chance to share the joy of reading and foster comradery within The Actors Fund community.

Prerequisite: 

The first book we will discuss is A MAN CALLED OVE by Fredrik Backman. This fun, emotional, best-selling novel is the story of a grumpy yet loveable older man who finds his solitary world turned on its head when a boisterous young family moves in next door. The novel was made into a movie which was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film and Best Makeup and Hairstyling categories at the 89th Academy Awards.
