The world of work and meaningful connection for people over 50 is challenged by a number of factors at any time, but never as dramatically as during Covid-19. The Career Center's Creativity Doesn't Age Speaker Series invites guest speakers who have knowledge and commitment to addressing strategies for our community to connect and engage in creative ways during this time of physical distancing, and beyond. Of course, topics highlighted by our speakers are relevant to arts professionals at all ages and stages of their lives and careers.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Wayne Cook is a nationally recognized and celebrated actor, teaching artist, and arts coordinator for artists in prison programs. Mr. Cook was one of the original team members to create and write the California Arts Framework for the Arts and he has written his own textbook, “Center Stage: A Curriculum for the Performing Arts, K-3 and 4-6”. For 25 years Wayne was the administrator for the artists in school program for the California Arts Council and also served as the ADA504 Disability coordinator for California..
