Wednesday Forum: The Future of Work in a COVID-19 Economy (EST)

With more than 22 million individuals out of work and filing for unemployment, a growing number of economists are warning the recovery period following what is being called the “Great Lockdown” is going to take a long time; and, much of the work lost will not begin to return until 2021.

For performing arts and entertainment professionals, whose episodic industry career requires multiple streams of income, this employment downturn has had an immediate and severe impact on their financial health. Many are finding themselves facing a pandemic without the financial support of industry and non-industry work.

Join us for an in-depth conversation on the future of work in a COVID-19 economy, and learn what arts workers need to know to navigate it.
