Wellness for Every Body – A New Approach to Self-Care

The concept of wellness is a big money maker these days. There is so much information out there, much of it encouraging extreme diets and exercise. But wellness can be quite simple. In this seminar, you’ll explore:

  • How to define wellness for yourself, and how it relates to your health
  • How our mental and spiritual wellness relates to our physical wellness
  • How to move away from a concept of perfection and towards simple, daily healthy practices in nutrition, exercise, and spirituality

We encourage discussion and there will be extensive time for Q & A.

Presenter: For more than 40 years, Dr. Brian Rosenthal, MD, MPH, has examined the concept of wellness in the able-bodied as well as the disabled. He began his work at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and continued that work at Long Island Jewish Hospital and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He received a further degree at The Mailman School of Public Health, where he focused on Quality-of-Life.
